I've read through this sticky, but the only info I've found on this gym is a couple years old.
Has anyone recently trained at the Muay Thai place that you can see from Geumjeong Stn? What is the format? Are there class times or is it mainly free training? Does any of the staff speak english?
I currently train at the Samsan Muay Thai gym in Uiwang, but am considering switching b/c the geumjeong one would be more convenient.
Thanks! |

I went there for a month, 5 months ago but had to stop due to bad ankles (old injury).
It's free training. I think it's 80,000 per month and you can go as much as you like Mon-Sat. Thre's quite a good atmosphere, you can get by if you know a little Korean, but they don't know much English (you can still learn easily though).
Maybe get a couple of important phrases translated before you go and you'll be fine. Just be sure to say hello as soon as you come in and bye when you leave... |
