I couldn't find another thread about this.

Is getting your diploma copy notarized AND apostilled a requirement just to get the E2 visa, or is it also a requirement from your employer?

I ask because I would be getting an F4, and wonder if that would change anything.

I got my degree in California, but no longer live there. To get it notarized and apostilled, I would have to first have my University mail me the notarized copy, then I would have to mail it back to california(to the sec of state) to get it apostilled..is this correct?

The apositlle on the crc and degree COPY (not required if the original degree is used) are E2 / immigration requirements.

They are NOT necessary for an F4.

They MAY be asked for by an employer but it would be unusual for them to ask a Korean (which is what you are with an F4) to supply documents with an apositlle.

You won't need to show your degree to get the F4.

But if you get a job with a school, they may ask to see your degree.
