I've heard mention of studying Korean online on some of the topics here. Can anyone recommend any good sites? I'm in a pretty quiet residential neighborhood or a pretty quiet town and really need to get some Korean going.

Good ones. Thanks! Sogang dives into the Hangul rather quickly, though, don't they?

hangul's actually pretty easy..... each character corresponds approximately to a sound or 2. We had one 30 minute lesson with our boss, and with a just a little bit of at home practice we can sound out pretty much any menu or sign we come across.
