The world's leader in quick service restaurants is opening in t-8 days in the Seoul of Asia.
Taco Bell now serves french fries? Weird. Will they start serving a taco burger?
How many more Taco Bell threads will there be? Will this restaurant stay open until I'm finished living in Korea? Taco Bell is a difficult one to put into a foreign market as China's 3 TB restaurants closed 2 years ago. I heard Korea had them in the 90's too. It was even forced out of Australia. |

I think we only had TB in Sydney, I was hoping it would have expanded more. |

It's pretty funny that people getting excited about a restaurant opening also brings out the haters.
Kinda like me during the world cup. I HATE SOCCER! Put on any old UFC event over any world cup match any day for the rest of my life. Hell, put on the same UFC event (even the worst one) over any soccer match ever for the rest of my life.
I hate soccer. I wish there was a serious emoticon to express how serious my hatred is.
I'd normally refrain from posting about my hatred about the children's game of soccer in any other thread, but it's just as rational (or irrational) as a bunch of taco bell haters' hatred towards the Bell--so I feel safer about posting it here.
THINK OUTSIDE THE BUN! SOCCER SUCKS! |

I don't hate taco bell. But really? A thread every few days about the place. I used to be pretty excited about it opening, but you people on here are pretty pathetic and making me rethink it.
Now if a Chipotle was opening in Korea, then I'd get excited. Taco Bell is one of the worst fast food places there is... |

You are going to the wrong one. Everyone knows Sultan Kebabs (behind Quiznos) is the top. |

I think you missed the point of my post. I just wanted to latch onto your hating and hate on soccer
Now, where we disagree is Chipotle--which I also hate--but not as much as soccer. Top fast food chain I'd hope for here would be In-n-Out. |

Bleh, I have yet to eat a good kebab since I got here. I am probably spoiled from studying abroad in Germany. Most people probably don't know it but the doener kebab was invented by Turkish immigrants in Germany. It does not originally come from Turkey. The ones here are puny, don't taste all that great, and are overpriced. Just my 2 cents. |

I have to agree with you. Kebabs used to be alot better a few years ago (and cheaper) but now they are rather bland. Nothing special.
I expect Taco Bell will make a killing here.
Still, I'll get my Mexican food elsewhere thanks. |

I think Taco Bell is going to put a lot of these Seoul mexican restaurants like Pancho's and Taco's & Enchiladas out of business. But then again Koreans may like the stuff that they serve. Taco's & Enchiladas is usually packed with Koreans. Koreans seem to like there flat triangular rice burritos with the crap meat.
As for Pancho's, I would like to see the real Pancho's from the USA here. Same quality as Taco Bell, well almost, but all you can eat. |

Who cares? Taco Bell is absolutely disgusting. People who have ever eaten Mexican food either in the States (San Diego, LA) or in Mexico never eat there.
These incessant posts about the opening of Taco Bell need to stop. |
