Think I can find a ticket from Atlanta, GA USA to Seoul

from somewhere after July 18th-23th until August 1st-6th?

Anyone have any advice for the cheapest possible ticket? I've searched all the corporate websites and googled for hours so far, but haven't found anything under $1600.

There's got to be a loophole somewhere!!!

Date of departure is 2 weeks from now, right in the middle of 'high season.' There's a good reason people plan for and buy up long-haul flight tickets MONTHS in advance.

I have no idea what sites you've searched thus far. However, some good ones could be:

http://www.travelzoo.com/supersearch/

http://itasoftware.com/

And...honestly Orbitz.

http://www.cheapoair.com is nice too

but yeah, it's way too late to be expecting to find a cheap ticket.

I would have loved to plan this months ago, but she recently found out she would have time to visit.

Thanks for the responses.

I was thinking along the lines of student tickets or stand by flights or something?

Yea, this last minute I would be surprised if you could find a ticket for anything less than 1500 bucks.
