"I don't make the rules, I just follow them"
Ha ha
"when she knocks on the door to come in answer it... naked"
I do this in my apt just out of shear comfort and the hot and humid
factor.
Ok, this is what I told coteachers and others right off the bat -
"westerners like their privacy"
When they pry for info on the weekend that passed - "oh, I went to (insert city) to visit a friend."
"I can't; busy" "Sorry, exercising after work" "nope, having dinner with another teacher" foreigner? "yes, foreigner"
It's not hard. They'll dig through your trash and tap your tele lines if you give an inch. Be firm.
So, is she hot? |

i've found the best way to deal with Korean rudeness is to act very very naive and ask them if they are being rude. this is very similar to a situation that happened to me.
KT: I want to come to your house. I will come Sunday.
Me (with innocent look): Are you inviting yourself to my place?
KT: Yes! You can cook for me.
Me: In my country, it is rude to tell someone you are coming to their home. In Korea, is this rude?
KT: Well... you are not Korean.
Me: Are you Korean?
KT: Yes.
Me: So, in my country, it is rude, in your country it is rude. (with confused head tilt) Why are you inviting yourself to my home and demanding that I cook?
KT: Nevermind... |

You're overestimating the intellect of someone so dense in the first place.
"You're not welcome in my home". |

Thank you, but your post lacks proper capitalization in both sentences; 1 constitutes a possibly typo, two does not.
I am here trying to clear up the confucian confusion. |

Couldn't happen. No one pushes their way into my place. If they don't take 'no' for an answer then simply don't answer the door. Treat them like bible-thumpin' missionaries. Apologize the next day for the mix up. And move on.
Let someone walk all over you like that and get what you deserve. |
