Where do you get socks from? I wear a size 13, but a bigger size can be more comfortable.
I tried getting some "stretchee" socks in Itaewon, but holes were made rather quickly, and they were quite tight. |

I'm incredibly picky about my socks - especially in winter, having suffered frostbite in the past, my toes get cold very easy.
Korea just doesn't have decent socks, IMO; no cotton ones at all, wool ones are low-percentage wool and very expensive and all their socks have too much elastic at the top.
I order socks online and either ship them over or to someone in the U.S. and have them ship them over. wigwams are good, my fave in fact.
try here: http://www.campmor.com/
see if you can find what you need
*also Japan has good socks - I've bought nice wool ones over there very cheap and they've lasted a long time
good luck |

There is a sock stall on Itaewonno street right close to the Starbucks. I think that is your best bet for Seoul. |

I've got size 15 feet. Generic Lottemart/Emart large size socks fit me fine despite being labelled as only up to size 11 or 12. If only the same were true of Korean condoms. |

Every year I go back to Canada for summer and buy a year's worth of socks. 40 pairs just about does it. |

I knit my own socks! Although, I know that may not be an option for everyone...
They are always the right size.
I agree about street socks. Dead in a matter of hours. I also agree that you'd probably be best off buying wool from home and having it shipped. All mine are wool or cotton from home, or handknit.
I still buy street socks, though. Some of them are just too cute. |
