Rolling Eyes

Any patriot will tell you that England is not a part of Europe. We're an island race.

'Continental women are hot.'

It's true.

But, my summers in eastern eu have shown me many a fatty. I guess that's not the western world now, is it?

And, I'm one that claims east eu women to be the blazingest in the whole wide world.

Any one ever read 'The China Study'?
What other creatures are still sipping on milk after toddler years.

Haven't heard of it but sounds interesting. I've heard many-a-time that over-eating dairy products (like, most North Americans do..) are indeed baaaaad for you in the long term. Maybe it's true?

Man that's my point. I'm totally advocating eating food made from actual food, and learning to eat optimal portions, and listening to your body before you get full, but it's still not good enough.

Why even try?

Also, I hear that smart eating also depends on what time of day you eat your food. Eating a tub of ice cream in the morning is apparently much better for you than eating it before you go to bed. But damn, I could never eat ice cream in the morning... the thought of it actually disgusts me.

How about one scoop (1/2 a cup is a cone scoop servinc) on a waffle for brunch? It's a once in a while treat that can be sooo nice.

Red meat is high in zinc, B vitamins, iron and protein - something many children & teens are lacking. Not to mention, the iron from meat is more easily utilised by the body than from vegatable sources. Meat is NATURAL. It's when it's pumped up with **** that it's bad. I am one of those few people that believe humans are natural meat eaters. Cool In essence, it all comes down to the type of red meat you are talking about - and how you are eating it.

As for weight problems...just exercise! I eat like a elephant on crack but make sure I exercise 4-6 days a week to keep trim. Lots of intense cardio & weights for 2 hours or so. I eat rice everyday, generally have a high carb diet, eat lots of meat, but am not obese or overweight. You don't need a diet of vegetables and fish all day everyday to keep slim.

I'd add it also comes down to how much you are eating. I try to follow the suggestion of eating a portion of red meat about the size of a deck of playing cards. I get my other calories(the fuel or energy value of food) and nutrition from the other food groups.

This is true as far as it goes. You don't say what an elephant on crack eats. If it's a lot of junk food, then you could have a lot of crap coursing through your veins and clogging your arteries, slim or not.
