This was apparently in 2001.

An Chinook helicopter was setting a torch sculpture on top of a Han River bridge and crashed, killing the crew of 3.

Quote:
S. Korean Helicopter Crashes Into Bridge, 3 Killed
An army helicopter installing a sculpture atop a bridge smashed into the structure and plunged into Seoul's Han River on Tuesday, killing all three soldiers on board.

The CH-47 Chinook transport helicopter was installing a torch-shaped sculpture on the bridge's central tower Tuesday when its rotors hit the sculpture and the tower.

The helicopter snapped in two. One half fell onto the bridge span and burst into flames, while the other half fell into the river.

I guess they built a new sculpture and managed to get it up there, because I saw it in Seoul a few weeks ago. That was a horrendous oops kind of mistake when the rotor hit the sculpture.

I don't remember it, guess it was too close to 9/11 to get much coverage. Pretty retarded though, good thing they closed the bridge first.
