My father was seriously ill in the hospital, and it was touch and go. He got a liver transplant, didnt take to well, and so things have been on a knife edge. Hes (thankfully) fully recovered, and I didnt want to apply for Korea in case...well, the worst case happened.

What I am a little concerned about is whether I have left it far too late in the game to be even considered....and if there is a marginal chance of me actually somehow bolstering my chances anyways, could someone please tell me?

I am a little perturbed by the EPIK comment: "you agree to a medical exam in Korea, and if you fail it, you will be liable for the costs of departure etc"

I have arthitis in my left foot. Yes, I take medication, but I walk around 2 hours a day, up and down stairs, and I maintain a active lifestyle.

I dont want to apply, fly out, and then get the "sorry, not interested" from the doctor, only to then be left majorly out of pocket.

Again, can anyone advise?

Your medical problem wont be an issue at the test stage.

Should it impair your ability to work, your relationship with your employer will get complicated.
