That would be my suggestion to you, because your war on pets is an overboard reaction to the problem in question.

You just said you wanted to give a government organization a 100% monopoly on the breeding and distribution of pets, to actively seek out violators, and to take criminal action against them. That's a lot more than something "like child services."

What? Are you drunk?

yeah, but I mean it can be an organization like child services! was an analogy! , similar administration design etc.. you know, they do have detectives and armed forces working for them too you know..
why not have an organization which goes out and prevents illegal animal breeding? we have them for many other things..
why not animals!??

ohhh that's right!! I have just remembered where you stand on animals.. that's right! you don't give a toss about them... I remember now from a thread last year your statements... was something like "who cares if they live or die, because they don't know death anyway"! or something on those lines..

NO,
so you are suggesting that my idea is similar to the war on drugs??

NOT AT ALL!, but actually my idea works perfectly for the solution on the war on drugs! government run! and cut out the illegal dealers and suppliers!!

you see the difference is, my idea would be in effect so there wouldn't really be a war on pet's! because everyone would just buy their pets from registered government dealers!
just like drugs if it was legal!
would't you buy your extacy pills from the government approved lab if you could? why would you buy from an illegal dealer?
makes no sense! so all the illegal suppliers will go out of business!

the war on drugs is a scam!
it only benefits those who wish to keep it going!

I think you're thinking of MM2 who was against pet ownership of any kind because of the negligible benefit (scientifically speaking) and obvious detriments (carbon footprint, resource consumption.)

I know they're really similar, I still sometimes wonder if Fox is MM2, but he denied it pretty vehemently to Rteacher a while back, and his posting style does have some pretty major differences.

1. If you don't love that kitten, who will?
2. If you adopt a pet, commit yourself to finding a loving home for it later and refuse to even consider ever dropping it off at a shelter.
therefore,
3. By all means, adopt a pet! So many cats and dogs at animal shelters need love NOW. Just make sure you are willing to go the extra mile to find them a good home at a time when you no longer can house and take care of them.

To not adopt for a year or two simply because you cannot commit for a decade or more isn't helping all those animals in need of love and attention now. If you love animals then consider giving a year or two now. Do some good. Just remember not to kick them to the curb or drop off at a kill shelter (which animal shelters are) afterwards.

Everyone who loves animals run down to an animal shelter today and rescue an animal. Just make sure it's a one-way trip. Never take an animal there.

Be part of the solution, not the problem.

YES, and we also need to prevent this from happening in the future!
its getting out of hand..

I read somewhere that California has something like 200.000 abandoned
Chihuahuas sitting in kill shelters!

guess Paris Hilton can be to blame for this..

this is why! Pets can not be used or treated as an accessory or a fade!
so if my rules were in place.. 199.000 of those people who applied for those dogs would not have been given the dog!!

dogs have feelings! you think those dog are happy sitting in that cage!???

on my cable channel here.. we have ANIMAL Channel..
in Korea many Korean parents who don't want their dogs anymore they drive out to an island or beach and drop the dog off.. and then just drive away! was watching it.. there was one local grandmother who would find all the dogs and bring them home.. she had MANY dogs, but she has the space for them..
she said " PLEASE DON'T BUY A DOG IF YOU ARE NOT PREPARED TO KEEP IT FOR EVER'! its not fair to the dog ..

still coming from a culture where dogs are a meal.. I guess to many it doesn't mean much...

but still, Korea has MANY animal lovers.. so thats good..

I don't think FOX IS MM2!

and no, I remember another thread where FOX and I were discussing about the death of Animals, he was saying that dogs have no idea of pain or death! so who cares if they die! .. I argued that dogs feel pain! and know when their child, or loved one is dead.. he argued but they don't know what death is.. so it doesn't matter if they die or not..
anyway something like that.. I will have to try and find that thread..

If the kill shelters are so overly full, it seems like there's a way you'd naturally expect them to deal with it. Confused Confused
