Along those same lines, someone posted earlier this year about getting drunk. I can't remember if it was New Year's or just a weekend but they talked about how 'cornholed' they were going to get.
Between the absurdity of using that term in that manner, the wtf responses, and the posts explaining how that's the improper use of the term, I've never laughed harder at a thread before or since. |
Just makes me wonder...what would be the proper use of the term "cornholed?" |

| Someone made a thread asking if they should practice eating Korean food so they could get used to the spice before coming. Somene else put such an epic response about what to say to Koreans about spicy food. I favorited the thread but I can't find it anymore. |

| How bout the "I swallowed a bone" thread? Page after page of gold on that one. I think it was DWAEJI whoever that chimed in that he too sometimes ate the big gristly knob at the end. |

Sometimes I think I need to limit my time on this site. And then I read something that makes me happy. |

Just in case anyone's unaware, here's billybrobby's blog.
http://theyangpa.wordpress.com/
It's a light tweaking of Koreans' foibles along with pointed attacks on their misogyny.
Funnier and more poignant than The Onion from which it takes its idea? YOU be the judge.
*Note that there are two Yangpa websites. This one is the connoisseur's choice. |

I wish I remember the thread name, but that 'quotable quotes' thread, where people would post some of the great exchanges on this board (g/d forgot the actual name of it), was a good run-through of some of the better threads on Dave's (that is, until Xerxes started posting his own quotes :/).

I linked to it on the first page, and it was revived for a few days. |
