Pencils without erasers. Why? Why? Why?
Pencil cases.
Computers without pdf capability.
Pencil cases.
Printers that won't print.
Pencil cases.
Inadequate air conditioning.
Pencil cases.
My hair.
Pencil cases. |

there's things much worse than pencil cases.
Kids fighting over pencils.
Kids fighting over erasers.
Kids fighting over pencil sharpeners.
Kids trying to strangle each other... during class time.
Kids fighting over pencil cases.

The pencil case situation is kind of getting out of hand.
I would add exacto knives to the list. What use do they have for them? Except injuring themselves? I have at least one nasty cut a month in my school. That's just in my class! What about the 50 other classes they have a week?! |

I have one kid who tries to sharpen his pencil with one of those. Not only is it annoying, it makes me cringe because I know all it will take is one slip and he could slice halfway through his finger. |

That is precisely why they carry them. The man who introduces the little 10c self contained sharpener to Korea, will make a killing. |

That's exactly why they have them. It's kind of a Korean tradition. I went spelunking around an almost completely gone Korean school next to a lake and just about the only thing I found were old exacto (pre-exacto I'd guess) knives. |

You know what's on my nerves lately? The stench in the bathroom. I don't understand why kids go #2 and just put the lid down and leave. I have to breathe into my shirt to go into the bathroom. Not to mention the fact that they often pee in the middle of the floor...grrrrr. |

The weather.
"Dry" t-shirts that don't wick it all away.
Kids who can't/won't speak any English but who know how to write all the English swear words.
Kids who don't even pretend to try to listen to me.
Those fruit flies. |

*I found them in a home plus for like 900 won. I bought three....it's sad that I got so excited, but using that darn silver big clunky choo choo train sharpener at the elementary school was about to drive me nuts! |

What is with those? They're clunky and impossible to hold on to. Korea can manufacture cars but not an efficient pencil sharpener? And why don't schools just use electric pencil sharpeners? It would take 10 seconds for a kid to sharpen his pencil and he wouldn't have to miss 10 minutes of class. |
