As we all know most of the washing machines or detergents just suck. I am specifically looking for a prewash or something to put on the stains before I wash my clothes. also, for the colors of my shirts because they dont look nice either. What is it called and a recommended brand?

It's called "Banishee Okshee creen" in Korean (Vanish Oxy Clean)I can't be bothered trying to nut out what the hangeul is)). It comes in a green bottle for the rub on type, and a hot pink spray on version. It's exactly the same as at home. It's made by Proctor and Gamble. Just look in the area where the other detergents are.

Cheers.

The ㅂ part is cool because they rendered it so it looks kind of like a 'V' as well.

I used to just use Palmolive when I was back in the states but haven't tried it yet with the dish soap here. May be something to try and would probably be a bit cheaper.

Slightly off the issue of stain removal, but after 1 and a half years of using Korean brand fabric softener, I switched to concentrated Downy, (which I found at HomePlus) and my clothes are so much softer and less wrinkly after drying on the rack. I also find that they smell better.

I used to have a lot of issues with 'crispy' clothes, recently though it's not longer an issue, I've stopped using fabric softener instead I just put my clothes through an additional 2 rinse cycles, reasons beyond scientific explaination, that seems to work.

vanish works wonders. even the hot pepper sauce it gets out. but be aware that it will destroy colored clothes. so only apply on clothes that are white or supposed to get white again.

its a pink bottle or can. powder or spray. found the spray to be most effective!

I'm just about to go to Seoul & was wondering if they carry Tide or any other big brands of detergent over there?

any recommendations to remove some tan-coloured stains from a beige sweatshirt? i have no idea where these have come from, i haven't worn the sweater since winter time and just noticed.

i was going to try the vanish oxy cream, but someone just mentioned that it's intended for whites only.

yes you can find many big brand names, like Tide, I bought Tide Cold Water last year, didn't really find it very good, this year I started using Gain, seems to be better. Can't say I'm certain that the detergents are the problem, it could be the water, or maybe a combination of the two.
