Ok, I recently met somebody who was surprised that I was returning home very late at night, but I insisted that I had to have a shower before going to bed.

I keep my bed clean, and after walking around all day in the heat, want to be clean when I go to bed.

So, the person thought that I must only shower at night, but was surprised when I told the person that I also shower when I wake up (before I leave my apartment for work).

So, now I am really interested in how often people shower - sometimes in my homecountry I used to shower three times a day, because it was hot all year round.

I guess in Korea, it may be very different because of winter / summer conditions - so I have only put SUMMER/spring/fall in the poll.

I also know most Korean people only wash their face in the morning and do not shower in the morning. Sometimes they do not shower (especially the kids) for 3 or 4 days during winter.

So for this poll, just washing your face/hair in the basin is NOT classed as a shower or bath.

so this poll is aimed at foreigners living in Korea (for summer, fall, spring - not winter)

I take 3 or 4 a day in the summer.

Once in the morning, once after gym, one more before I get ready for work, then one more when I drag my sweaty ass in from work.

I shower every night. I shower most mornings, unless I'm running late.

I like a clean bed as well.

Ever see that episode of Seinfeld where Kramer moves into the shower? That's my dream.

Once a day. Unless I've been doing some serious exercise/spending a lot of time out in the heat. in that case, I'll shower when I get back to my place.

I shower every morning no matter what.
However, I have been known to skip washing my hair every so often (once a month maybe) if I stay up too later or if I am just really tired and don't want to get up.

Back when I went to the gym, I did shower after my workouts... mostly. Sometimes I was just tired and lazy and would bed as is.

I am more apt to take extra showers in the winter as I find it's the best way to warm the blood.

Awesome, I'm not the only one who showers once every 2 days. And I only put that due to lack of other option... *whistle*

Sometimes I just wash my hair in order to be perceived as clean, when in fact I'm filthy. Still attract girls somehow though, until I harshly reject them. *bewildering arrogance*

Quick Shower in the morning so that's I can can look and smell good for school ( course after 3 hours in the Korean heat that plan gets shot to heck on many days)

Then a bath with a good book around 7 or 8ish.

Im one of those people who loves to read, but reading on either the couch or bed is awkward on my arms, but the bath has built in support walls.

sitting in the tub for 60-90 minutes a night ( if my son isnt being fussy) is not uncommon( and was common place before he was born.)

For the 2 or more showers a day people, do you wash your hair each time? I can't get my hair wet without shampooing / conditioning, but that's tough on your hair.

Sometimes, I do take a sponge bath on hot days, but I usually only shampoo/condition once a day.

Back in Canada, duriing the summer, I would actually ship showers some days and just tie my hair back in a bandana and rub on the patchoulli. My school should be thankful that it's so humid here that I'm not even tempted

I wish I was regimental enough to shower 3 times a day.

As it stands, only in the morning.

Boo me.

I can only shampoo twice a week, but I rinse it every day, and condition every other day. Curls (long or short) dry out if you shampoo more often than that.

Twice a week for bathing/showering. And I don't use soap (there's no need to, those chemicals can get bent).

And no, I'm not a filthy hippie either.

Wow, I always have "bad hair"... straight but a little kinky/wavy, and always dried/fried, even though I get a lot of haircuts. Maybe I could shampoo/condition less, but my hair is fine and gets greasy easily.

I'm getting an Ehwa salon cut next week, I hope that helps.

Can you shampoo only twice a week and still wear your hair down?

Whenever I take full showers, I will wash my hair thoroughly. In fact my showers tend to be based around my hair - whenever it starts to look or feel greasy, I'll shower. Unless I'm not in the mood, then I'll just wash my hair and leave it another 2 days. Judge me, please. It's Dave's and I haven't been abused yet.
