Actually I thought the refereeing was good.
Dutch should have won but Robben hesitated and missed 2 cracking chances. he made similar mistakes in earlier games- nudging the ball directly at the keeper. Villa didn't perform either. |
I agree actually (about the refereeing). I hate to see red cards in a final. There probably should have been 4, so 1 seemed a relief. 14 yellow cards though - hahaha! And Spain wasn't exactly squeaky clean either.
