Not a big deal by any means, but I was curious. Maybe in Itaewon? |

Hey, all of the cinemas show movies without subtitles. Korean movies!
What's the matter, OP; is the 자막 ruining the experience for you? |

I thought I'd get a stupid comment like this which is why I said it wasn't a big deal. I figured the answer was no, but figured it didn't hurt to ask. It doesn't bother me, but it would still be better w/o. |

CGV and the Seoul City Council have teamed up to offer one Korean movie everymonth with subtitles. There is no information about this however except a blog I have found. Here is the address:
http://www.seoulcityblog.com/category/movies/
Also in August the Jecheon International Music & Film Festival (the only one of its kind in Korea) will open early August. Its only 2 hours away from Seoul in a rural setting with a big beautiful lake and foreigners unlike nearly every other festival will be able to book.
Use this site to get info. It also lists the official web site and the facebook page which gets updated all the time: http://jimff.wordpress.com/

Stupid comment, huh? Let's carry out an intelligence test, shall we?
- What country are we in at the moment?
- Korea
- Not Korea
- What is the predominant language in this country?
- Korean
- Not Korean
If you selected anything other than A for both questions, then you failed the intelligence test. |

On a related note I was wondering if there are any foreign language films playing in the US without English subtitles. |

Thanks to those that actually answered the question... there are lots of businesses that cater to English speaking folks in Korea so I thought I would ask on the off chance that there was one. If you thought it was a stupid question, well click the back button like many others did before you. I've been in Korea for a little over a month and I was pretty sure the answer was no, but I thought it wouldn't hurt anything to ask the question. |

Yup! I've been to some. Foreigner communities often put on screenings. |

Reminds me of the friend who asked me if there were Siamese cats in Thailand. Ever the smart-ass, I told him that not only were all of the cats Siamese, but that all of the twins in Thailand were Siamese too.
He was pretty quick on the uptake and found it funny. |
