I work for an after-school program, and they have always claimed they don't pay pension. I and everyone else seems to just accept it... but I've heard I might be able to nail them on it if I threaten to call the pension office.

However... does this mean I've been getting less taxes taken out of my paycheck every month? And it more or less evened out?

I'm from America, by the way. Guidance is appreciated.

Short answer: Their claim is incorrect. Pension is required.

For advice and clarifications regarding pension, call 1355 and press 7 for english. Thats the pension office line, not sure if it still works though.
