| if you're looking for a pawn shop or something to that effect that will have used us-ntsc games, you may be searching forever. american games are hard to come by here and your best bet on getting them are on forums like this or to buy them new at www.play-asia.com. i have heard that there is a store that sells american games in seoul by the army base, but if they sell used games or if they even exist is something i don't have information on. |

There are pawn shops near Bosan Station, by Camp Casey, and they've got a lot of US Games, but I found that the games were scratched up and the prices were crap, especially since most of the prices were in dollars.
That being said, I didn't really look around, asked about a couple games and after seeing the discs I left. |

Scratches are no problem, resurfacing a disc is easy |

True...but when they want $20 for a jacked up disc, then say $20 is 25,000 won, it's not worth letting the dude rip you off just because you CAN fix his shoddy merchandise.
Anyhow....there are quite a few pawn shops around there that mostly have US discs, and it's kind of a trippy place to check out anyhow as it doesn't feel like Korea at all. It feels a lot more like what Vietnam would have been if the US had won the war and had bases there.....at night it can be dodgy, with Filipino hookers everywhere and all sorts of Juicy Bars....but the best burger in Korea is out there at a place called Marty's....it really is the best, better than anything I've had in Itaewon. It's called the Soldier Burger, it is only 10,000 won and is a double-patty (real patties), bacon cheeseburger with steak fries. |
