I'm looking at this website :

http://www.whypaymore.co.kr/

while clicking on BKK (I assume bangkok) I get a range of prices from 300,000 to 500,000++ won.

This is the first one (cheapest) :
--------------------------------------------
성인일반

서울 (SEL)
인천공항 (ICN)

방콕 (BKK)
방콕 (BKK)

(직항)

좌석등급 : 일반석
6일 유효
출국좌석 : 미정(실시간 상품이 아닙니다.)
--------------------------------------------

Are they good prices and do they include taxes?

They look extremely expensive to me compared to the tickets I bought from Singapore/Malaysia/Bangkok.

I'm having a family reunion so I have to be there beginning of July, your help would be fully appreciated.

Nope, that's a good price--especially the ones around 300,000 for a summer trip. I think I paid closer to 500,000 when I went, and that was 18 months ago.

Their call center number in Korea is 1577-1245 or at 02-318-8585.

Hours are 9:00 - 18:30. (M-F) and 9-3 (sat)

I will try this company, because the less I pay for price, the less I pa in Korean taxes, and that is very, very important.

These searches are for August 7th through 22nd.

For Bangkok. 692,800 won is the best result with actual available seat which runs $577 at 1200 won to the dollar. Many cheaper results turn up, but 0 available seats is the problem with them. On Bing, $592 is the best I got which is on Air China Limited, but it is like 4 hours longer than Whypaymore's available direct Thai Airways flight at 692,800 won including tax.

I searched for going to Bali and got 1,032,000 won or $860 at 1200 won to the dollar. On Bing I got $813. I had to go up to the 1,032,000 price point to yield an available seat even though cheaper teaser quotes are given.

I would say it's just easier and more practical to use an English site, but worth researching as I just did to somewhat understand the market. The big pluses about the English sites geared towards US is their search results are actual seats, it's in English, and easy to do. Just search, pay, print, and have a nice trip.

I paid 450,000W (before taxes) to go to Thailand earlier this year (around February) and I literally bought my ticket about 24 hours before I left.

I got my tickets directly from Cathay Pacific and their prices where cheaper than what I was being quoted on the major sites.

You would also probably save some money if you moved your departure to Friday (I realize that may not be possible).

I recommend Thai Airlines. They usually have the best prices. You can also get a refund or change the date of your return for a 30,000 won fee.

I noticed their prices were around 700k won for the seats remaining in August.

Try www.072.com

Good luck getting a reasonably priced ticket to Thailand next month -- you'll need it.
