Flight leaves on the 25th, Visa is up on the 24th...
This being my second year, just curious is the process for a visa extension is the same for one day as it is for one year...
(Handler handed me a form from SMOE, but it's for NSETs that are staying on another year... She's an idiot and I fully trust the members of this forum against what she says on pretty much every occasion LOL) |

i think you just have to go to immi and it is pretty easy to get a 1 month extension |

Nope - this one is easy.
go to K-immi (or you can try to do it on-line at http://www.g4f.go.kr ).
IF you do it on-line to need some way to send copies of the documents to K-immi.
You need to show your ARC, passport and exit ticket (e-ticket is OK).
You will be extended until your flight date (extensions can be for 1-30 days).
The process takes about 10 minutes.

and the extension you will be applying for online is the 'Temporary extension of stay for departure' and it's free. |

one note the extension does not mean you can work! Thru you say it is only for one day! This extensions just allows you some leeway so you are not illegal.

My contract ends on the 24th, so no I certainly won't be working... lol |
