Hey, I'm trying to see if there is a bus route that goes from Ori station (or anywhere near there in Bundang) to Yongsan Electronics Mart.

I tried using one of the bus route search maps but I couldn't get it to find the starting destination outside of Seoul.

If there is no bus; what is the quickest subway route from the yellow line?

Thanks so much.

FASTEST way was the 9401 (or similar express bus) going to jongno (YMCA stop) and then jump on the blue line to Yongsan station.

Yes, I know that the route double tracks a bit but it really is the fastest way from bundang to yongsan electronics market.

Best way is to take the Express bus - 9401 0r 9001 - to Hannam just across the bridge (Dankook University stop - though moved now I believe) then walk up the hill to the local bus stop. From there take the 110A to Yongsan-gu office, just across the overpass for the no. 1 Line tracks, then walk from there or catch the local bus. It is only a 10 minute walk.

Subway will take a lot longer.

Take a bus (, 8200) at Meonae, and Stop off at 순천향대학병원, and Take a bus (GREEN, 0213) at Hannam-dong, and Stop off at Yongsan Station

Takes 90 minutes and 2100 won according to :

http://bus.congnamul.com/SeoulRouteWebApp/view_english/map.jsp

It's only an hour and 13 minutes be subway, why not just take that?

Take the subway, unless you're planning on going odd hours. Traffic can get pretty hairy, and Yongsan is pretty much dead smack in the middle of Seoul.

You can get there as everyone has suggested, but having taken all of those routes - even during busy times - 9401 > Hannam and 110A to Yongsan gu is the fastest and most convenient and comfortable way. The traffic you will encounter will be along Itaewon-ro, (other than the many stops and some traffic in Bundang) but after that it is quick. And from Ori on the bus, you will be guaranteed a seat.

However, Seoul being what it is, it only takes one accident on the road to make your trip longer. Generally during busy times, others are right that it is best to go underground and avoid the traffic.

Give us a time report here when you do the run!

I think my fastest time on a Saturday afternoon was about 75 minutes from Ori to arrival in Yongsan. I had the luck of catching the 110A within minutes of arriving at Hannam.

I was just there today. I took the subway however. The dvds are 5 for 10,000 won. They have tv shows now. Some lady bought season 6 of Lost while I was there. I also got a deal on a fan. I like to go behind the main Yongson E-mart to the street vendors. Have fun!

Right hand side there is a subway map that finds that best route. I live one stop away though - Pm me and we can meet at Ori and I could show you the way. I need to go there anyway.
