I'm especially looking for London Pride or similar, which seems to be available in a few bars/restaurants, but I can't find it at my local Lotte, Homeplus, E-Mart.

Anyone seen it, or anything else worth getting?

London Pride = Good. Jeezus. What are you smoking? There is no good beer in Korea, period.

If you are going to post a message about good beer, you should at least know what you are talking about.

London Pride is a decent British ale, pal. There is loads of great beer to be had in Korea, just not Korean beer! You, sir, obviously don't know what you're talking about.

Well, not going to jump into this argument (as much as I'm tempted to, as a huge fun of Real Ale) but you used to be able to get London Pride at some WA Bars (the one in Jongro, for example) but I'm not sure if they're still selling it.

Never seen any other British Ales or anything similar anywhere. I'd love some Boddingtons...

I can say unequivocally that LotteMart has a better selection of beers than either HomePlus or E-Mart on Jeju.

My local Emart used to have Germany's cheapo beer "Oettinger" for about 2000won per 500ml can. Not bad really, miles better than Korean beer at least. I noticed Lotte mart has smaller cans of it now.

I enjoyed that beer. The 8.9%er gave me chronic head aches though.

My favorite beer is probably Sam Adams. It costs 3700 at my local Homeplus. Shocked

Yeah I had a night on the 8.9% stuff with a mate, wasn't a good idea. The regular tastes a lot better too.

At the moment my local Emart has sporadic stocks of other light German beers, Krone Neptune, "5.0" and Von Raven.

The 5.0 is, strangely enough, 5,0. That being five comma zero. It's a wheat (weizen) beer and at 1750 won for a 500cc can it's pretty darn good.

Here's how they drink it in Germany!
