Which travel guide do you use? I say this because I had the Lonely Planet Guide to Southeast Asia on a Shoestring. It was great but I bought it years ago and wanted a more recent guide. I decided to try the Rough Guide to Southeast Asia on a Budget, and was disappointed. The latter is FAR from informative and just has opinions here and there about places.
I'm thinking I'll go ahead and double dip for the Lonely Planet guide. I've also heard of Frommer's but does anyone else have better suggestions? Thanks. |

| there was a time when i went to europe for example with only Lets Go and Frommers books. now i use mostly info i have collected online from places like virtualtourist.com. i dont use lonely planet books but now i use their awesome thorn tree forum. |
