As for drunken tiger, joosuc and anyone involved with MP or YG.... they all blow |
wasn't garion on a MP album like 3 or 4 years ago? anyways...i like korean hip-hop for the most part. i'm more into the movement crew... |
Garion was on the MP label, but like most artist there had a falling out with them... as the label head only pushes Joosuc and Defconn. For him its all about making the money at the expense of the art. Im also friends with someone currently attached to MP, but they dont have great opinions of MP either.
As for Drunken Tiger, I've been told by reliable sources that they used ghostwriters for some of their early work... people like that shouldnt have record deals |

Ooof! I deserved that.
Rap music is a fairly young genre, and most rap music is sold to teenagers. So if you're defining succesful people as Fortune 500 company CEOs or, people who've made a killing from property then maybe you should wait a few years. |

I'm still hoping it's a genre that will go the way of the Dodo relatively fast...
PS. Oops, you did it again. |

Successful, successful, successful, successful, successful- frigging hell.
It's going nowhere though, face facts- Hip-hop is the new Rock'n'Roll and parents will always end up saying to their kids

If it is so bad, why did you listen for an hour? |

| 13 year old Korean udes all decked out in theIR BRAND NEW HIP FISHER PRICE HIP HOP STARTER KITS gave me a laugh at first. This was closely followed by disgust when I'm charged more to get into some "hip hop" clubs. Then I figured "what the hell". All they are doing is helping to further a music that was started in our neighborhoods. If some true hip hop artists can get a bigger piece of the pie from it then so be it. God knows that the jazz and early rock era artists were not as lucky. My buddy actually laughed when he saw a black dude playing rock. He thought they were going to rap. I aid that we spawned the music form. I won a good meal from winning that bet. So, go buy the Jay Z, Ghost Face Killah, Outkast all you want Korea. Support Black Youth! |
