|
|
I recently picked up a used Korean model Sony Xperia X1 smartphone, and had to flash the OS to an English version. The phone's great and unlike most people, I don't find Windows Mobile to be that big of a headache.
The only problem I'm having is finding the same apps I had on my old crappy LG phone when I first arrived to Korea. This included basic stuff, such as a Korean subway map and Korean --> English dictionary. So, does anyone know where I can download this stuff? If it helps, I'm using SK as the cell phone service. |

the easiest way to get the phone into english is to install SPB mobile shell and set it to english. It doesn't change everything, but most things |

Well, I don't have any experience flashing an Omnia myself, I'd recommend you head over to the XDA Developers forum to figure out how to do it. That's how I learned to flash my X1 as well as install a functioning version of Android on it as well.
Here's a link to the their Omnia II forum.

Unfortunately, the customized ROM I installed did not have the T-Store pre-loaded. If anyone has a direct link to the app or anything like it, please let me know. I can't figure out how to download the app directly from the t-stiore homepage.
Even better, does anyone have a link to a stockpile of Korean Windows Mobile apps available from some "other" source? |
