I'm a newb but my husband is rather good at this sort of thing. That said, I got a handle on 4th edition pretty well. Is anyone playing 4th or just the older/more complex varieties? I'd like to join in but I worry a game in progress would be complicated as other characters would be leveled much higher.

I really LOVED playing 4th edition the few chances I had. My tiefling starlock was pretty much untouchable. Smile I'm not great but I have good intentions. My husband, however, is amazing at this sort of thing. That said, I'm in Bucheon and would be willing to travel a bit out especially if anyone plays Sundays as I have almost no time in the week. We can start a new game otherwise if anyone has the time/energy/creativity to DM. I would be oh so happy!

The last BattleTech book I read, the Dragoons had just made Jaime Wolf's female clone into the Dragoon's general. Do you remember that one?

Sorry to go off topic.

Yes, my all-time favorite, however, is the book about Kai doing the whole Solaris Arena matches. Badass.

Reviving and old thread...

Our game in Suwon kind of fizzled out from people moving away and changing schedules.

Anyone in or around Suwon want to get a D&D game started back up?

I can DM, but anyone else can DM if they want to. PM me or respond if anyone's interested. I work at a public school, so weekday evenings are best for me.

Hello everyone,

I've just started a game for a bunch of my friends here and we're in need of supplies.
I need a place for my players to buy dice sets and I'd like a battle grid for myself (DM).
I've found orc town, but they only sell D6s. Anyone else know some secret place that'll sell dice sets.
Considering what I've found so far . . . anyone know an online store that'll deliver to Korea fast/cheap if the secret store isn't found?

Cheers,

Wally

You can order D&D stuff from What the Book in Itaewon (www.whatthebook.com); books, starter kits and such some of which have dice sets in them. Also, Ebay is your friend. I've also gotten stuff from trollandtoad.com. I don't really remember what I paid on shipping though.

Btw, if anyone is interested...

I am part of a long running game in Daegu. One of our players left Korea this week, so we are down a player.

We still have four (five including the DM) so its a strong group, but there is definitely room for more.

Let me know if you are interested.

Howdy folks. I'm between Seoul and Suwon. I'd like to play D+D, Call of Cthulhu or Paranoia. Let me know.
