After (almost) one year in a hagwon and the standard horror story with severance (or lack of) and a year teaching business English (not so bad, except for the loooonnnnggg hours and split shift), I have found a uni position.

I've been working/teaching for exactly one week now and maybe its still the honeymoon period, but it just seems so great. I really do feel lucky.

Do you have to "grade" students and give tests? I think I'm about as lucky, although I'm not at a University. I don't have to grade or give tests. I teach about 17 to 18 hours/week. I get about 2 to 2 1/2 months of vacation plus holidays.

Just got lucky-- that's it.

High school girls.

Not a bad trade.

And I still like not having to give or grade tests.
