Anyone out there know of any locals who have put in a private swimming pool? Naver/Daum leads have proven to be useless.
I've got a yard, baking in the heat, and I'm looking for a reputable local company to provide the materials and the end construction work.

I wish Jongnoguru was still here.

If you're in Korea and you've got your own yard, I think you'll figure something out.

But seriously, if you happen to know where I can get paver stones for my driveway, preferably near Bucheon, let me know. And a screen door. I like to smell the magnolias when I'm baking indoors. The great danes love it too.

Ah who would have predicted this type of first reply here at Dave's?

I've been here 10 years, bud.
Bought a house. It's not a mansion.
It has a yard, not a meadow.

Just think what you could do if you applied some of that wit to your finances!

E-Mart 49,900 won. I'll blow up the plastic and install it on your yard for a swig of rum.

Buying a house in Korea can hardly be considered a smart thing to do with your money....Korea? Really? That's the best you could come up with?

Are you for real? I know more than a few people who have done well off of property investment.

Regardless if this property is an investment property or not, it is a smart thing to do with ones money if it brings them happiness. Might not be smart for you but thankfully not everyone is on the same train as you.[/b]

Who are you to be giving financial advice? No offence, but I have quite a few connections with a hell of a lot more knowledge than you.
You don't know how much I paid for it, or what I'm going to do with it. You don't know how much savings I have, or what I'm doing with that either.

I'm getting married and I'll be here for a while. I have a nice quiet, corner of earth... soon to be full of water. That's just the beginning.
