Heard about there being free Korean classes available around Seoul. I live in the Songpa-gu area . So, would like to know if there is something available close to me... cheap or free. Cheers. |

The Korea Foundation Cultural Center offers free classes. It's just off of City Hall Station. You have to sign up in advance, take a placement test, and they'll decide which class to put you in based on that test. The next test is next Friday, July 30 at 6:00. Here's the website with more information: http://www.kfcenter.or.kr/english/community/03_read.asp?no=4352&page=1&forum_id=bbs_4e&part=&startpage=&searchKey=&searchType=
I went to sign up for the test two weeks ago and they are very friendly and speak excellent English. The center is very easy to find. There's also a map just in case you need it, but the easiest way is to get off at City Hall Station, exit 9 and go left once you get above ground. Hope to see you next Friday! |
