I've seen these popping up all over Yongsan and other electronic stores. These are TV sets and PC monitor in one: they have input for a PC and a TV cable. Are they a good deal? Is there another way (for a non-expert) to do the same thing with a monitor (i.e., connect the TV cable to a cable box which connects to the monitor)?

Is Samsung and LG the only companies doing this?

If they are a good deal, I need a 22" TV+monitor? What price is reasonable to pay in Yongsan for a LG or Samsung model?

thats pretty much what you've seen right? It might not be the best price (just a quick search) but I looked at one here and really liked it. I think they are a good deal, 27" version would be better though Smile probably worth a few quid more too.

you can use your pc monitor as a tv but you'd need a set top box to convert the signal if your using a coax old style antenna or a cable feed. And then need a box that supports HDMI or similar output.

the above tv gives a nice and compact zero fuss solution.
