I've seen one on a trip to a non-related location, but where exactly are these places and what are they called?

I'd love to take someone fishing and drink some beers in the sun this weekend.

You're going to have a hard time getting people to reveal their favorite fishing spots.

But, as a general rule the reservoirs are a good bet.

There are several in Gyeonggi Province, not far from Seoul as well as around the country.

Fish caught in the ocean are generally safe to eat as well.

http://www.anglerstown.com/e_fishingplaces.htm

Here is a decent site. Lots of good info. And locations all around Korea. My general rule is if I won't swim in it, I definitely won't eat out of it.

Uh, no, not a fishing spot.

As in a completely artificial pond with tables around it that you catch fish out of.

낚시터???? Are you talking about the indoor bar like places or the little outdoor ones? Anyway just put that into 'google' or 'google images' and you will see examples of both.
