Hey guys,
Up for sale is a 6 month old HP envy 15. I bought it in the states and had it shipped over here. The tax sucked. Anyways, here are the specs:
i7 1.6 Quad core processor(can turbo up to 2.8 ghz)
320 gb 7200 RPM HD
6 gb ram (upgraded from 4)
ATI 5830 1gb GFX card (If you're a gamer, I don't need to say anything about this card, but it does get around 9000~9500 3dmarks. It can run crysis, quite well actually.)
2x USB 3.0 slots, 1x usb 2.0/esata port
15.6 LED 1920x1080 display (You really gotta see this in person, it's gorgeous)
6 cell battery, webcam, etc etc.
2.35 KG. About 5 lbs. For a 15.6 laptop
1"(2.5cm) thick. Magnesium casing.
This is an awesome laptop. It plays all the latest games at full resolution and high settings fine, and it handles everything you can throw at it with no lag. It's more powerful than a lot of the desktops out there. The screen is absolutely gorgeous. The colors pop, the blacks are deep, it's FULL HD, and the viewing angles are really high. The best thing is that it only weighs 5 lbs, or 2.35kg, so it feels really light. If you have a USB 3.0 external HD, the transfer speeds are blazing, so much faster than USB 2.0. The only gripes I have about this machine is the battery life and the webcam. The battery lasts around 2~3 hrs, depending on how you use it, and the webcam's colors get a little distorted under certain lighting conditions. (it's fine for the most part.) The warranty is international and the service center here rocks. I had faulty stick of ram, so I got the ram replaced from the service center on the same day.
The reason that I'm selling this is because I need something that is more portable and something with better battery life. I don't really find myself using all of this power, so maybe it can benefit someone else more.
I will throw in a ton of extras. One is an HP external dvd/cd writer (100,000 won I think), A zalman zm-nc1000 cooler (30~40k won), a neoprene pouch (20k), a usb 3.0 external HD dock. (you just pop in a hard drive, and voila! it's USB 3.0, no external case needed. This will have to wait until the weekend though. 70K), and a silicon keyboard cover (I had this from day one to prevent oil and dirt from getting in the laptop.11k)
If you look on gmarket, the cheapest price is 2.1 million, and that doesn't include the external DVD drive. The hard drive is a bit bigger at 500 gb, but the ram is lower at 4 gb, so I'll consider that a wash. If you configure this on the US HP site, it comes out to 1550, and that's not including tax. Of course there may be coupons out there, but you'd have to deal w/ the build times, and shipping it here will be a hassle, since you have to deal w/ the 10% VAT on laptops. I don't have the original box because it would have costed much more to ship it in the original box.
I am listing the machine at 1.5 million OBO. I know it is expensive, but I am not in too much of a hurry to sell this, and since it's OBO, I will entertain other offers. So please don't lowball me. Send me an email @ [email protected] or a txt msg @ 010-4613-0133 or just PM me if you have an offer. I am located in Hongdae and we can arrange a time to meet and you can test out the laptop if you want. Thanks for reading. Pics are below.

Selling for 15-1600 USD new right now guys.
At 1.6 mil this machine is a very good deal. Pretty to.
If I were towards the end of my contract, I'd consider it. But, I still have my monster right now, it does a job, well enough. |

How is that a good deal? It is used and nearly the same price as new.
Besides, HP is a rip off to start with. Can get the same machine minus the HP decal and crap malware that gets preinstalled for 300 bucks less. |

New price here would be roughly 1.9-2.0 easy . So it's a fair deal. I normally don't agree with pricing that's posted here, but this particular machine is priced well enough. Especially for korea. |

If you dont agree with the price, then please quietly pm or email a reasonable offer. Offers that arent obvious lowballs will be considered. Why do you post crap like that if you arent even interested?? |

Because debate, often spurs information. Information spurs decisions. Decisions spur sales. |

Just letting you know, my laptop doesn't suffer from that problem. I don't understand what your problem is. Why are you posting something that doesn't even affect my laptop? |
