| I'm on vacation for the week. I like to go clubbing/dancing/drinking/meeting new people. I figure in a city this size there have got to be places that aren't dead Mon through Wed. Could someone point me in the direction of the party, please? |

| Go to Itaewon, Hongdae or Gangnam. There are about 500 places you can go. |

| Anything more specific? Helios, The Loft, King Club, Tin Pan, S Club are all dead during the week. I'm not familiar with the other 495 places but maybe this Mon through Wed I could get to know the good ones. |

| Tony's Aussie Shop has a live music open stage every Monday Evening. It's in Itaewon. It's lots of fun! |

Find a Toastmasters club, make professional and social connections in the 2 hour meeting, then go to the bar with everyone afterward for party time.
Tuesday at KH Toastmasters are lively and the 2nd round of drinks is usually feisty. Tuesday is also the Pacific Sunset club on the Yongsan base. Wednesday nights hold South River Toastmasters in Gangnam, Thursday is Seoul Toastmaters in Jongno-gu near Jonggak station, and Fridays are LGA in Yeoiudo and another new club in Gangnam.
I started a thread about Toastmasters a while back. A simple search will bring it up, and more info. is here: www.toastmasters.org |

I'm at gangnam station too. There's some awesome places to drink that are usually hit or miss during the week.
Vudu was packed last Weds around 1 which is weird cause often that place is dead. Can't argue with the 3,000 cass and tequilla shots there. What's SUB is another great place with dirt cheap beer that can fill up and be fun. There's no real 'party' going on from Mon-Weds anywhere in Seoul, it's all Thurs-Sun but that's the same everywhere on the planet for the most part.
FF in Hongdae often has live performances throughout the week if you're into that. |

If you're anything like me then you'll be dissapointed.....even at the weekends...nevermind during the week!!!
As the others have said, find a foreigner bar. This is because koreans are no good at meeting new people (even amongst themselves).
But good luck because a full bar with the right atmosphere will be hard to find, especially mid-week. |

I know what you mean! Everytime I've gone in Korean places, the social awkwardness has led to one-nighters. And I don't like being considered as a piece of foreign meat to be passed around. |

| Some of the places on that street behind the Hamilton get a decent crowd on weeknights. B1 in the alley next to KFC was also pretty lively until the wee hours of the morning the one time I went in there during the week. |

You should try Tuesday nights at places with specials, especially wing nights. They're usually pretty crowded. |
