I start teaching in the public school system through SMOE this fall. What's the dress code? Business casual? Jeans? How about for the orientation?
Thanks. |

Ok, so you are presumably hoping to make a good impression.
So it seems obvious, at least to me, what kind of clothes you should wear to your orientation. |

Shorts and a cutoff shirt that accentuates your midsection. It's way too hot for anything else. |

Nah, 2 piece all the way... Men and women...
OP - Business casual with a touch on the casual is the norm around my school... Something nicer on your first day of school will go a long way... Shorts and a t-shirt for camp. |

Nicest clothes for your school presentation on the TV monitor then whatever you want afterwards. May or may not need to wear those asinine indoor slippers. It all depends on your school. As everything usually does in Korea. |

Dress nice on your first day and the look to what the other teachers of your gender are wearing and dress similarly.
If no one wears jeans, don't be the first. If everyone is wearing jeans, go ahead. |
