I've been craving some Italian, anyone have any thoughts. In Chuncheon would be nice, but Seoul would be acceptable too

Olive Garden? I know it's really not that bad, but to think of it as a place for good Italian food means you might not appreciate good Italian food.

I think that the OP means that they're desperate for anything that doesn't have ketchup as tomato sauce and kimchi as a side.

Make your own! At least then you get garlic bread without sugar

jenny's cafe in hongdae is our favorite. they have a nice pesto dish with sundried tomatoes, soft cheese, and olives. they make their own bread. skip their pizza.

The best Italian food I've had in Seoul is at Villa Sortino in Itaewon. It'll cost you though

Di Matteo has a branch in Apgujeong and in Hyehwa. The owner was a famous Korean comedian until we disappeared to Italy to learn how to make brick oven pizzas and authentic pastas. Some of the chefs are foreign and keep it authentic.

Edit: I wrote about a restaurant in Hyehwa called Marro, but they changed everything. What once was some excellent Italian dining is now a glorified bar where the limited pasta dishes are overshadowed by traditional Korean side dishes and expensive drinks. RIP Marro.

I thought Mad for Garlic was pretty good. But I also like airplane food.
