My missus bites me but apart from that I haven't seen many violent women

Those two men teachers should be fired

Fighting in a school regardless of whether kids can see isn't on at all

We had a situation last year in our school where a teacher hit a kid , kids father comes in and decks the VP. Some would say the teacher shouldn't have hit the kid - fair dues and all that - the vp retired shortly after.

It's just not the way civilized, adult people sort out their problems.

Even when the kids in school start fighting I go full on mental at them shouting and roaring to emphasize that it isn't big or clever and generally make a big deal out of it - many times the co-teachers don't even bat an eyelid - even if blood is drawn - it's not right!

Wow, really? I have seen things go down here, from (female dog) slaps to all out street brawls, including one in which we had to hold up our beers whenever someone was slammed into our table on the bar patio. Actually, at one large hagwon I worked at, 2 over-50 ajosshis were fired after the police were called to break up their fight in the teacher lounge.

Years back my friend and I watched an angry man in a suit walk up to a glass display case in front of a shop and smash it with his fist to express anger at someone he was with. He was whisked away yelling "18" and other such curses with a towel wrapped around his blood covered hand before the police could arrive.

I LOVE and feed off such displays here! The more irrational often = more exciting!

Meh, more of the same, like I said I've yet to see anyone take an actual punch in the face. (broken nose, teeth knocked out, etc..) I'm sure it happens, but those all sound like the usual pushing, pulling, rolling around on the ground with each other and fake fighting they always do.

No, the one in front of the patio was the real deal. One guy was stronger than anyone else, and I don't know exactly how the parties involved were arranged, but one guy had blood gushing from a few places on his face. A passerby who tried to break it up had blood coming out of his eye socket, and someone's girlfriend was dragged across the pavement.

I also saw a big fight in Sincheon years ago. One guy smashed another guy to the ground with a wide right hook that led to a goup of about 8 guys going at it.

There is a lot of that lame stuff you mentioned, but I've seen a good bit of that in the US too. Real fights tend to be few and far between.

I watched 2 friends (?) go at it outside of a bus stop. One or both were probably drunk and they were arguing intensely about something. One guy was definitely more angry than the other. Soon, both of them are semi-wrestling and the drunker guy takes a gigantic swing at the other guy. It was an absolute whiff though because he was pretty drunk and the other guy just went to town on the drunk guy's face when he whiffed and fell. one young guy and one old man stopped the fight and had to pry them off each other. Full on punches to the face, but it's the first and only fight i've ever seen in Korea.

Korean women beating up or being violent to Korean men, now that I've gotten used to. I see it all the time: On the subway, a woman bit her boyfriend on the arm so hard that his arm looked to have a permanent tattoo; a woman grabbing a man by the hair and holding him down; women left right and center smacking their male friends, boyfriends and not in a loving and playful way. And the men never fight back. These usually aren't in public places, so it's not like the man is trying to keep a public face. Are Korean women this violent? Is this some kind of Korean foreplay? Doubt it because I see elementary school girls and older doing the same stuff.

Sometimes I wonder if Koreans are Klingons mixed with Ferengi.

Sure! It also makes you wonder if blacks are apes and Jews are rats, right?

The 2 races quoted are humanoid, not animals. You're just being ridiculous and incredibly racist. Gipkik wasn't.

Last Christmas Day some men were doing some refurbishing inside one of the apartments about 4 doors down from me(YEP they were working on Christmas Day!!!) Apparently they hit a wire or something and made the fire alarm go off for the whole building. This angered the "security" guard, so he came up to our floor...some words were said and then all of sudden they were punching each other. I wanted to videotape it, but got nervous that the old men would turn on me. Eventually "security" guards from the other buildings broke it up. Being Christmas and all it felt so surreal and bizzaro. I can't wait to get back to the states and celebrate holidays with my family instead of dueling adjosshis.

And I was referring to humanoid apes as in Planet of the Apes and rats as in Maus, in which the Jews are portrayed as mice. In any case, comparing people to alien races is a bit questionable, regardless of whether they are humanoid or not. Where do you draw the line? If I see you and tell you you look and act a bit like the Predator, would you consider that acceptable? How about if I said Jamaicans look like Predators because the Predator has dreadlocks? I swear, NYC_Girl, you and your NY liberal give money to people who have illegitamite baby double standards, they sure do drive me crazy, but you're cool in any case.

Who the heck are you talking to? If you want a platform, you're at the right place. But direct your energies at a source that gives a damn.
