I could go for a fully interactive cyberverse (ref.:any/all cyberpunk). What would a physical manifestation of Dave's look like? (probably Itaewon ( )
Past that, a holodeck would be pretty sweet. But alternatively, I know I get pretty lazy just swinging about a Wiimote. I'm all, "F this, give me a Dpad." |

Governments do not trust people enough to use them safely - not because they care about you, but it would really put a dent on the tax revenue for the year if loads of people killed themselves in flying cars. Everyday I look at and listen to people around me and I am conviced that this under-estimation of human intelligence is completely justified |

There are tons of cool things that I would like to see, but the one that should be here already, and I can't for the life of me figure out why it doesn't exist is digital documents.
By this, I don't mean pdfs docs or rtfs. I mean digital passports, digital birth certificates, digital diplomas etc. Yes, I know they will be easier to steal and fake than paper copies, but there's already digital banking, and although it's relatively easy to steal or forge virtual documents, it's a lot easier to increase security measures digitally than it is to design a new holographic stamp and print it on every piece of paper. |

These are probably harder to forge, as you can embed some code that easily verifies the authenticity of the document.
Electronic signatures are long overdue as well. It's a royal pain in the ass having to print out a document sign it then fax (a fax? Come on give me an effing break) it, when you could have just attached a digital signature then hit send on your email. Is a hand drawn signature really that hard to forge? |

My Macbook Pro has been at 8 hours for the past year. More if I'm willing to reduce the screen brightness. |
