That album is probably my favorite thing of the last decade. I can play and sing half of it. Colin Meloy is pure songwriting genius.

OK, he didn't write that one..

Heheh, Peter Gabriel. I had forgotten all about him. I listened to "Sledgehammer" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N1tTN-b5KHg about 20 times a day back in February. A great killing the winter blues song.

Listening to the new Arcade Fire album now )it's freely available on torrent sites). Only up to the second song, but it already gets a ten out ten from me.

Douglas Adams's best is, for my money, Last Chance to See, read by him. I listen to it like music but not, alas, daily at the present time (That honour, in the audiobook category, goes to Genome by Matt Ridley).

Gospel songs (You lift me up, Give thanks, etc.). Since my home radio is continually set at the Christian radio station around 108FM, I always seem to be listening to an assortment of CCM, gospel, or hymns. Personally, I like the contemporary-interpreted hymns.

I've been listening to "White Winter Hymnal" by Fleet Foxes quite a bit:

Also, "Imitosis" by Andrew Bird:
