Hopefully you chose neither.

Just go to a beach with a ball, an inner tube and play together. For any seven year old, time with family having fun all together is more important than an event.

I've been to Florida's Disney World, Tokyo's Disneyland and Korea's Everland. Timing is key but I personally rather liked Everland. Depending on the age of your child and YOUR energy and patience either/all will be fine.
My only adivice is avoid Everland's waterrides. That water is soo full of harmful bacteria , I wouldn't be surprised if it's the same water that they used since it's opening day.

I was just at Tokyo Disneyland a couple of weeks ago...it was awesome...I liked Everland, too, but it does not even come close to being as good as Tokyo Disneyland...I watched Michael Jackson's Captain EO in what they call 3D, but I call it 4D, since the chairs moved and you could feel air on your arm when Hooter the Elephant blew air out his trunk...^^ They had great shows, too. Not to mention, a wide selection of Minnie Mouse ears, since Tokyo is awesome when it comes to fashion...got me some uber cute Minnie ears and unique, too...don't even get me started on the awesomeness of Harajuku...the fashions in japan are like an orgasm for the eyes...hehehe...OK...I'll shut up now. Laughing I wonder if Koreans will have a heart attack when I wear my cosplay gear down the streets???

just 7? save your money and go to Everland.

When 10 or 11, THEN Disneyland (and will always remember at that age).

I concur.

Your child will vaguely remember the theme park. Go to Everland and when they get a little older, take them to a better place.

Since Disney World Florida isn't in the poll, I will vote for Disneyland Tokyo.
