I've noticed these floor standing air conditioners all over Korea, but I haven't noticed if there is any kind of drainage hose. How is excess humidity removed from these types of air conditioners?

Thanks.

There are hoses. You may not be able to see them. The hoses could go through the wall behind the AC, or through a hole in the floor.

The hose is hidden and hard to see going outside.

I looked at the standing on end casket looking thing we have at school in my little office room. I could see the hose/wire bundle behind it and everything works just like the regular small units mounted in an apartment except it can seriously refrigerate a 15X20 foot room.

In a fantastically geeky way I love being surrounded by so many aircon units like this in Korea (its my job) and seeing so many poor installs is great as you can see the backs/sides/bottoms of them when you never would back home.

Some of the units are specced pretty large!

3/4" suction lines and the whole shebang!
