That's great. I wonder if it's an open ticket? I can't know for a very long time the exact dates of my Winter vacation. Surely this price doesn't include taxes which could easily bump it up to 500,000 or more as every flight seems to have a different unexplained level of taxation. |

that price includes tax.. but that price is just a promotion price..
marketing, make noise and interest etc...
once the promotion is over the prices will go to a more realistic price..
CEBU Airlines did the same thing.. and you can still get deals with them sometimes..
so the prices for KL will probably go a little under the market price to get interest.. but this is Korea after all.. so don't expect to much of a deal..
I'm guessing the prices will be around 350.000won including tax... |

I have flown some of these promotion prices before on Air Asia. Surprisingly, they really are available; travel Agents cannot book them because you have to put the name on the ticket at time of purchase, (I think they can ask to see the credit card used for purchase too).
The bad news is that, if you travel Air Asia and miss your connecting flight, even if it is another Air Asia flight, you loose the second ticket (unless you buy "insurance". They are strictly "point to point" carrier and provide no connection services. So book a few extra hours when making that Bangkok or Bali ticket purchase.
Great that Air Asia is finally going to Seoul! |

Which is still decent, if it is including tax. Korean Air is over 600,000 before tax. |

Of course some peak periods have no special.
It might even be worth taking a weekend trip there. It's roughly the same price as going to Busan on the KTX. |
