Ive got a question:

I was seeing this Korean girl and she keeps not replying to my texts unless I get really serious and send her a guilt trip text saying something like 'friends dont just ignore each other' and basically suggesting im getting annoyed. She sometimes texts me as well, but she often ignores me.

I figure I should just stop texting her so much (I text her every 3 days or so) cos its getting demeaning and she might respond if I stop giving her attention.

However, I got ditched in the past for not texting enough, so Id rather keep it up than break off all contact.

Basically - should I keep texting cos shes korean or act like I would with anyone else and just stop giving her so much attention?

I would suggest a reciprocal level -- answer every one of her texts, but do not send more than one text whilst waiting for a reply -- fair is fair, after all....

If you text and she doesn't reply within a day or so...well, personally, I would take that as a hint, unless she is in the hospital or something during that time.

If you are a guy and have to guilt a Korean woman into sending you text messages...sorry, but she is just not that into you. Sorry, but that may just be the painful truth of it...and if I am wrong, I am sure someone will come into the thread and correct me....

dude, you got to chill out.

she clearly isn't in to you anyway.

she is probably even more creeped out by your 'friends don't just ignore each other comment'.

She has probably gone to tinpan or helios and copped off with the next white dude to give her what she so desperately craves.......

i suggest you take a look around and check out the heaps of other K girls that are secretly craving what you have to offer.

man up, jeez...

Yeah, let this be a lesson to you and all other guys in Korea - When a K-girl is into you, there's no such thing as too much texting. There is, however, such thing as too little texting. Don't wait.

If baffles me that you think this would be seductive to anyone. It's creepy and desperate. Move on.

Time to move on I think. No point getting stressed out and sending here annoyed messages. Makes you look silly and desperate.

Too true. She might not be responding because the OP is ONLY texting every three days rather than every three hours.

OP, you sound like you're pretty good with women, so you've probably already done this, but if not, give it a go.

Follow her (without her knowing, of course) and wait until you can see that she is using her phone. Then, send her a text message saying something sweet like, "Hey 여보. Life without you is torture." If she doesn't reply within a minute, run up to her and confront her.

ah. this past weekend i met a girl. she was super chill. left her on sunday. usually this would mean at least 48 hours not texting i'd reckon. but, taking advice of 'the korean way' i texted her today. not much, just a how's it going. cue a huge conversation spanning about 30 messages and in the end i was kinda regretting i'd started it..
