I have a t-money card from seoul, live in daejeon and see the t-money logos everywhere. I keep trying to use my t-money card on taxis and at 7-11 and they try to process it but it doesn't work. There is enough money, and i thought maybe the card was fried but I went back to seoul and all was fine. Whats up? Are there rules or limits I don't know?

I think T-Money works mostly in the Seoul area only.

I was in Daejeon last weekend and my T-Money card didn't work either.

However, I've used T-Money successfully on the Busan subway and Chungbuk buses (outside Daejeon).

You get Daejeon cards in Daejeon. Go to the subway stations or your local GS25 and get a card there. They work for buses, subways and taxis.

My seoul tmoney worked in daecheon/boryeong, even though they use a different company there.

Most places take it, just remember that everyone takes cash.

From what i have heard....you can use a Seoul T-money card anywhere....you just can't refill it outside of Seoul.

Nope, Mybi dominates the North Gyeongsang region, with some exceptions.
