I packed a huge bottle of Advil, and am not a drinker. It's good for more than just headaches. Ever had a rough workout? A fever? Bring a nice bottle and you won't have to worry about it for a year or more. My big bottle is well over a year old, and I'm not the only person who uses it.

Another expensive item is multi-vitamins, but you can buy those at Costco. GNC is in Korea.

One of the things that I could not find was western brand toothpaste. I could never get used to the weird taste of the Korean stuff. A english router would be nice as well if you plan on going wireless. I could not figure out how to switch the language on the one I got - too much of a PITA. A good pair of walking shoes are useful as you will be doing a LOT of walking.

Belkin routers have a multi language option in the settings, so thats what I use. You can change it without knowing any korean (just hit enter when they ask for a password).

$7.22/500= 1.5 cents per tablet at Wal-mart

OP, like I said, pack a large bottle of Wal-mart ibuprofen and save yourself some money.

It's not the price for me, it's the shitty hours of the drug stores
