Is the IKEA WORLD showroom up at WonDang Stn (Line 3) worth visiting or is better online shop? Is it near the subway? What does all this Korean mean that is posted on their site regarding their offline shop:

I have heard that Ikea back home has gone down hill as the prices have gone way way up.

I visited Ikea World last week up north...an hour on Line 3 from Sadang Station. I don't think it was worth the trip to Acton. It's just a small office/storeroom with a few pieces of furniture that they sell. I was looking for a wardrobe and the prices were competitive but I needed a desk with a drawer for my elementary-aged child...which they didn't have. Where might a desk this be for sale?

The desk set is ok quality - it will last a few years but definitely won't be a family heirloom - but for the price it is great.

( I have had 2 for almost 18mths now - no problems apart from some wear on the desk edge where it gets a lot of use and some minor delamination - but again - for the price!)
