Btw I have done business with JS before, he is nothing close to an amateur photographer.
Maybe when he says something, it's not a bad idea to listen..
before you insult someone you shoudlnt. |
I didn't insult JS. I insulted you.
I do think that the OP should bring it down a little, but you have to remember if the camera and lens has a warranty then it needs to be considered. Personally for me grey market cameras are too risky for the investment.
I think if the OP really wants to maximize profit, then he should sell everything separately. |

I apologize if I posted up "used" links, my Korean isn't that great. But of you doubt the prices I invite you to go to Namdaemun to check them out for yourself...this is easily verifiable. And even if those prices from G-market are "used", they are still better than the OPs posted price.
I agree that when you buy used, you don't know what u r getting. However, something could have happened to the camera in the shop as much as it could have happened in the OP's possession during his week or so of ownership. But if it comes with a Korena warranty, as is the selling point here, then it really doesn't matter because it can be fixed free of charge. And personally, I think most people would prefer a legit store standing behind a product than someone we've never met before.
Please understand, I was only attempting to get the proper market price for the camera, nothing more. I will take my friend to Namdaemun this weekend. Good luck with the sale. ... the 50D is a great cam. |

Yaaaawwwn
The point is, and I'll keep it simple and use small words, the guy's stuff is too expensive.
He needs to lower the price.
Enough said; I am done drilling facts into thick skulls.
As far as the insult goes, children sticking their tongues out at me doesn't upset me that much.
and.....I am outa here!

After you buy any legit Canon product with a warranty, if you have any problem then you deal with Canon. In the states consumer rights are higher so you can return/exchange the products easily. Not here in Korea. If you buy a genuine Canon from the OP or a store, the process is exactly the same. Maybe the seller will meet near a Canon store to verify the warranty date if you are unsure.
By the way, Canon AS is excellent here!

| None of the above, but I have learned several things about Canon products with my recent purchases. Just trying to help and I'm not partial or impartial to anyone - even Rastafarians. |

Not entirely true. And alas, you've given me an opportunity to shamlessly plug one of my favorite stores in Namdaemun. I usually do business with Hyosung camera, who are famous for their fierce loyalty to their customers. Not only do they an extremely helpful bloke on staff who speaks fluent English, but I've returned a couple of items there for a full refund more than a month after I purchased them, simply because I had decided that I wanted something different --- most recently, a Sigma that was too soft for my taste. I agree that there are some places that wont do a @#!$ thing for you after you've purchased something from them, aside from directing you to the closest service center, but there are the exceptions. I strongly recommend anyone check them out the next time you're in Namdaemun. -- |

Great you found a decent store to plug here. I think we all need to know where the friendly stores are. Thanks. |

How old are you?

Sorry, but here seems to be some scum stuck around here. Good luck on your sale. If it doesn't work here, either take a hit and ebay it or use the camera and learn the craft and sell it later. |
