I have my F4 visa pasted into my passport. Is there anything else I need to bring to show to immigration other than page where the visa is pasted? The consulate in Chicago where I got it sent me a letter along with the passport when they sent it back, but the letter's in Korean and I have no clue what it says. Do I need to bring the letter with me?

I got my Alien Registration Card about 2 months ago and I also have an F4 visa. I didn't recieve/need the letter you are talking about, but I basically needed all the documents I submitted to get the F4 visa plus one more. The extra document had something to do with certifying my Korean bloodline. I am an adopted Korean-American though, so I'm not sure about your situation.

Hope this helps.

I'm also adopted. So you had to bring all the paperwork you used to get the F4 visa with you to Korea to show when you arrived? They check all the paperwork after you got over there?

Hey sorry, I lost track of this thread. Yep, I'm not sure if it is in general for all F4's but in my case I had to bring all the documents I needed for an F4 and show them to the immigration office in Omogyo. They made me go across the street to another building to verify my family blood line or something. About a week later I got a call that I could come pick up my ARC, passport, documents, etc.

Once nice thing about having the F4 is that you don't have to wait in the regular line with people getting their E-2s/other visas.

You should also be aware that you may not need to go to the Omogyo office as it depends on where you will declare your address in Korea. You may want to ask where your housing will be or just use the address of a relative.
