I'm a Capricorn, but WTF does that have to do with anything? You guys are a bunch of weirdos for believing this crap. I came to Korea because I wanted to come to Korea, not because some star was in the 7th house of Jupiter's anus.
I get my horoscope from America's Finest News Source, The Onion.

| Capricorn, came because I was bored and didn't like the direction the US was heading (political divisions widenening). |

Taurus, Libra rising (lots o' Venus, Baby), Aries moon. Ox.
I came here for the money and the goals it could help me achieve. I've stayed because I love it. (More accurately, I came back and have stayed beecause of the money and because I love it - a wandering soul, but not wandering enough to work for peanuts.)
There are five FT's where I work. One is a Capricorn, another is a Pisces, and the other two I don't know well enough to say.
Of course I don't really believe in astrology. Unless we're talking about Geminis, whom I avoid like the plague, because they are all f-ing crazy, including my husband. Who, it is worth pointing out, is not with me here in Korea. |

I'm a full on GEMINI!! For better AND for worse.
I think my parents sometimes want to kick themselves for having a baby in June because I change my mind and my life faster than they can blink. They never know what crazy idea I'll come up with next. You think they'd be used to it by now...but nope.
Although Geminis love to travel and meet new people, etc, I am surprised at how easily we accept a 1 year contract. Commitment is usually not our thing.
Very entertaining post OP, maybe we could add a poll to make it easier to see how your theory pans out? |

Pisces here too... Originally I had my heart set on Japan, but changed my mind after a short while of reading up on the forums. I need to fund my Master's and Korea doesn't seem to be all that bad, contrary to all the bickering you hear on these boards ;)
I hope to be landed safely in the next two months and enjoying the company of fellow Dave's members at the nearest bar! Haha. |

Ok, I'll post a non-facetious reply for good measure. I am a Taurus. I came here because I wanted to try something new. My jobs before Korea all entailed working in a cubicle on the phone or washing dishes. I had an opportunity to work as a park ranger, but I decided to try out Korea because the only foreign country I had been to at that point was Canada. I also had a couple of friends who were heading out this way, and an old friend I talked to taught in Japan for a year in the Japanese equivalent of a hagwon and highly recommended the experience.
I stayed because I enjoyed the work and being fiscally independent. I also gained an interest in linguistics. |

I have a hypothesis that every single thread on the Korean forums has at least one utterly pointless and hopelessly egotistical, negative, ignorant or snide comment in it. Thanks for being the first on this one you pioneer!
Anyways, I am a Libra and I am going to Korea to further my Korean studies and to experience the culture. |

And I have a hypothesis that there's a lot of people who believe things despite all the evidence to the contrary. |
