I've seen salt and vinegar chips in Itaewon at the foreign food market nearly every time I've gone.

A&W Root Beer is available at the foreign goods store by Yonsei as well. 1000 won per can, so it's a bit pricey when you're used to $1.25 per 6 pack back home. Plus it's a pain to lug a lot of it back home when you have to walk to find a taxi or bus. But man, a frosty root beer is so worth it.

I take it you don't live near Seoul. Outside of New York style pizza, those things are pretty readily available.

EDIT: I second brazil nuts. I few months back, E Mart had Dorset Muesli with brazil nuts, but I haven't seen it recently. It's the blue box.

You seem to talk a lot about food in some threads. I wanna eat some of whatever you're cooking!

I'm making yogurt in my rice maker, and am making a big batch of refried beans for my packed lunches this week.

I'm a bit of a healthy foodie Embarassed It was one of the topics I used to write about when I was working back home. Before that I worked for an A-list client wellness center. It's a topic of interest.

We should have a Dave's potluck. That would be nuts, but I'd be afraid of poisoning from some of the posters!

I think some people have done that before, years back. I could be mistaken, but I know there were a few get togethers.
